Point Hotel Barbaros, the third hotel of Ozbek Tourism Group, is opening its doors to guests in June 2009.  As Turkey’s first art-tech hotel, Point Hotel Barbaros, brings together the most original examples of contemporary Turkish art and the last point technology has arrived at.

The hotel which has a capacity of a total of 210 rooms of which 80 has a sea view, will run its central management with OPERA Xpress. OPERA Xpress, a light version of the OPERA Property Management System (PMS), can be customized based on the needs and requirements of the property. Point Hotel Barbaros, has acquired a “customized” hotel management solution due to the flexibility of being able to choose needed features from the OPERA PMS menu and being able to structure screens based on work processes.

The hotel has a total of 14 meeting rooms ranging between 30-900 square meters and a 900-people ball room. These spaces will be managed by OPERA Sales & Catering (S &C) solution that shares the same database with OPERA Xpress, making it convenient to develop a sales and inventory strategy from a single point. The inventory and costs of the hotel will be managed by Fidelio Materials Control (MC) and the accounting software, Logo, and the front office will be integrated by the Portal Interface.
